All new iPhones being sold in the US, UK & Germany are locked
to a particular provider (Version 1.0.0 - 1.1.2, Bootloader 4.6)
If you wish to use the iPhone with another provider in that
country or in another country, you will need the X-Sim II to
bypass the lock to work with your existing sim card.
In Canada, it will work with Rogers & Fido Networks.
Also works with: at&t, T-Mobile, Vodaphone, ORANGE,
Mobile , o2, Tesco, CosmOTE, Tim & Virgin.
And please alert that that's not the exact solution of
unlocking the phone, it's BY- PASS the SIM checking
of the phone. For example, there is an locked AT &
T iphone, and of course, else of AT & T SIM card,
the phone cannot work on any card else. So,
when the user want to use the own card, it needs
to put the own card into that X-SIM II card slot,
then, put to the iphone. When iphone detect the
card, that X-SIM II would BY-PASS the checking
to determine if there is AT & T or not, then, the
iphone would still work with the user's own card.
So, the conclusion is that the iphone is not really
unlocked, it just BY-PASS the SIM checking &
let the iphone to work on any SIM card.
Just Jailbreak the iPhone, update it, Jailbreak it again,
insert your Sim card togetherwith the X-Sim II, & you
phone features will work on your iPhone. Very simple
to do & you can not damage your phone!!! X-Sim II
requires no modification of the basebandon your phone.

If the iphone are come with Modem Firmware 04.02.13_G and Firmware
Version 1.1.2, it cannot unlock with any software unlocking option,
but the sim-turbo aka X-SIM
How to confirm firmware version?
Check your iPhone SERIAL Number, it shows likely this : 7V745xxxxxx
the 45 means it was produced on the 45th week Iphones from week 45 and
above have the new Bootloader version 4.6 with the 1.1.2 Firmware
which is unlockable without this sim-turbo
How to check the Modem firmware version?
Turn on your iphone, it gets "Slide for Emergency Call"
Slide and you will get the phone keypad
press* 3 0 0 1 # 1 2 3 4 5 # * and press CALL
Press on VERSION
step of unlocking:
Step 1 - Downgrade your firmware from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1
Step 2 - Jailbreak & Activate, install OKTOPREP then upgrade back to 1.1.2
Step 3 - Cut the little corner of the SIM card to let the unlock SIM
card fit in. ( This will not damage your Sim card)
Step 4 - Tape your SIM card on the unlock SIM card. Then ,insert to your iphone
Step 5 - Run installer and install the "iworld"
Done - that iphone can use on any network
